Free Seventh Generation Diapers
If you’re setting up your baby registry, you might want to set one up on Amazon. Besides the competitive prices, free supa saver shipping, and vast selection, Amazon has teemed up with Seventh Generation to offer “six months of free diapers” – worth $250 when you (and your friends and family) complete $750 worth of purchases off your gift registry. So, if you can’t do cloth, or are using both disposable and cloth, Seventh Generation is a good option with eco-conscious elements such as: chlorine-free wood pulp fluff, hypo-allergenic, fragrance and latex free, with some necessary synthetic components that are not petroleum derived. Many kids with sensitivity issues with other disposables have less irritation/rash issues with these. If you already have a lil’ one and want to try these out, or want to purchase other Seventh Generation products, you can click here to register on their site for printable coupons. (note: The new “improved” version has not gotten rave reviews, due to less per package, smaller sizing, and new tabs that parents don’t seem to like. As well, some don’t like the larger sizes, complaining they leak. • Also, there is a question as to whether or not Seventh Generation will ship to Hawaii so check first. Buying your diapers through Amazon, you’ll still save having them sent to a mainland address – if you have someone there who can then ship them to you- as opposed to purchasing them at the stores here. (UPDATE: We earned our $250 worth of diapers but since they don’t send to Hawai’i they just gave us $250 credit on Amazon, for anything). I recommend Hawai’i and Alaska residents complain to 7th Gen that they need to start shipping to us direct!
Purchases must be made July 1, 2008 to September 30, 2008 and the reward redeemed by June 1, 2009. For more info, check on Amazon’s site.
Another option for new-fangled disposables are the gDiaper – disposible natural liners with a reusable, washable outer layers. Check them out!
